Ever wanted to track a video link or social media link in an email campaign? If your email campaign host does not track this for you, how do you know how many people have engaged with your content? One suggested solution:
- Use the Google URL builder to tag the social campaign link.
- Redirect the user through a page that contains your Google Analytics Tracking code (e.g. a specially-created page on your website) - make sure that the code has executed before completing the next step!
- Then set an automatic redirection from your website to the social media item/video etc.
