At We Are Cloud we always strive to be innovative and this often involves teaming up with our scientific and technical partners and pushing new research. On this mission, Mathias Paulin, our Ph.D. in charge of scientific partnerships, was in Nantes this week (7&8 November) to attend a technical meeting of the MyCloud project. The project, started in November 2010, is a research program financed by the French National Research Agency (ANR). The project focuses on developing a software service that allows control over the quality-of-service of cloud computing services.
The most recent meeting brought together the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA Grenoble), the Laboratory of Computer Science of Paris 6 (LIP6), the Ecole des Mines de Nantes (EMN), and Mathias from We Are Cloud, each of whom presented their work and current results.
The main architecture of the software service has now been defined and a road-map has been outlined which should see both the scientific and practical results provided in the coming months, so stay tuned to the Bime blog for future updates!
