Have a look at this interesting work achieved by Joe Swainson, a student who recently graduated of University Arts London (Camberwell College).
I found it on this great website Visualizing Economics.
As Catherine explained it, "this poster shows the shift in our world economy with emergence of certain markets. Countries covered are: United States, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Russia, Brazil, India, China. Data sources are United Nations historical data and Goldman Sachs forecasting data. Each circle represents the size of the nation’s economy every decade from 1970 to 2050. The countries are ranked by GDP each decade from largest to smallest."
Forecasts are amazing for China, India, Brazil and I am worried about France.
